Abstinence education and counseling is available through the Alpha Center volunteer counselors using a variety of resources. Time is spent looking at future goals, plans for future children, and the status of current relationships.
Abstaining from sexual activity is the ONLY 100% way to remain free from STD's and avoid pregnancy. The proper use of a condom can reduce the risk of an STD but in no way will a condom protect you completely from all types of STD?s.
Even if you've already been sexually active, you can stop and you can stop today through secondary virginity!
General relationship counseling is also available. Time is spent evaluating one's current relationships using resources such as Five Love Languages, Vive La Difference, and other miscellaneous resources.
Lady in Waiting and The Bride Wore White studies are available. These studies incorporate a Biblical perspective on the importance of purity. Group studies are offered periodically at The Alpha Center but one-on-one counseling is always available.
